This is my personal apartment so there are no broker’s fees, companies to deal with, etc. The building was converted to residential use from a historic barrel factory and is located on a beautiful, safe, tree lined street. Some of the best restaurants Downtown are literally on the corner Blue Ribbon, Mas, Ditch Plains, Famous Joe’s Pizza, Market Table, Magnolia Bakery, etc. Upon exiting the front door, a five minute walk will bring you to Christopher, Bleecker, or Gay Street, Washington Square Park, world class shopping, and famous restaurants and bars. SoHo is a three minute walk south. A quick, cheap cab ride can bring you to Chinatown, Little Italy, Trinity Church, the famous Wall St. bull, the New York Stock Exchange, Ground Zero, the boat launch for tours of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Federal Hall, Time Square, Central Park, MOMA, The Met, Chelsea Piers, or the South Street Seaport. Every major subway line is also within a three minute walk (1,A,C,D, E,F,V,R,W) and of course, cabs are available right outside to take you anywhere in the city. We can also assist you in arranging towncars for airport travel. When you arrive, a welcome packet featuring maps, restaurant guides, food delivery menus, and contact information for useful services will await you. The loft boasts tons of windows with great natural light, a large bedroom featuring four windows and custom double French doors (which are in the process of being stained in the photos below), a queen size bed with a Starwood Hotel pillow top mattress, brick walls, hardwood floors, a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and designer backsplash, a fireplace, a 50 Panasonic plasma screen television with Bose sound system, formal dining for six, a bar and wine fridge, a large and elegant desk, free WiFi, and HDTV cable and movie channels.
